Text Box: Winthrop University Ambassadors are current students of Winthrop who act as an extension of the Office of Admissions.  By giving tours and sharing personal experiences, Ambassadors help prospective students and their families  see Winthrop for what it is and all that it can be.   Recruiting for Ambassadors begins each Spring and entails a rigorous application and interview process.   While Ambassadors have to fulfill an extensive list of requirements, they are rewarded with the respect of the Winthrop community, as well as  Winthrop paraphernalia, which they will hopefully keep and cherish for the rest of their lives.
