Research has shown that the campus visit is one of the most
important factors in influencing a student’s college choice.
Students and parents recognize that colleges and universities will
present their institutions in the most favorable light in their
viewbooks and other publications. Thus, the prospective student
relies on the campus visit to discover what the school is “really”
like. When an enrolled student says, “It’s great here – I love
being a Winthrop student!” the statement carries a lot of
credibility.
Ambassadors are trusted to represent Winthrop University. This is
an important responsibility, and Ambassadors are expected to take it
seriously. An Ambassador could be the reason a student decides
to/not to attend Winthrop. Ambassadors have to always be aware of
what a significant duty they have!! |
