IN SPITE OF EXAMS. I BELIEVE THAT YOU ALL WILL COME OUT ON

YET, SO IF GOD IS THE GREATEST POWER, WHY DO WE OFTEN LIVE 
DEFEATED!!!! SO, LET'S CHANGE NOT AN OPTION TO;

My Sisters in Christ,

            Hello! How is everyone today? I hope and pray everyone is doing better than they were yesterday and feel tomorrow than they did today! As many of you know, Miss Nora Farmer and I attended a Joyce Meyer conference on the 18th of March in Winston Salem! It was an awesome experience! I took notes at the conference and I would love to share them with my sisters:

Joyce Meyer asked everyone in the audience this important question:

Does the Holy Spirit have you, and if so, how much of you does He have?

We all say and believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within us, but we all need to ask ourselves how much of me is the Holy Spirit and what parts of my life can I allow the Holy Spirit to take over.

We looked at the Scripture: John 20:22: “I am with you, but there will come a time when I will be in you” (NIV). Is He really in us? We need to make sure that He just didn’t come into our hearts for a visit. We must make sure Jesus is dwelling in us forever, and we must live our lives according to this. God is working with all of us with this, especially I, and I thank Him for not giving us on any of us.

            We looked at Acts 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes in you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (NIV). When we allow Jesus into our lives, we obtain power and strength to do everything God calls us to do. With Him we can do all things, apart from Him we can do and are nothing.

 

            Joyce also talked about us becoming the church. There should be a marriage between the Word of God and the Spirit (we are spirits).  Its one thing to read God’s Word and gets understanding of it, but not only should we read and understand God’s Word, we should live it.

 Acts 2

-We need to see our lives as God Has It!

-Real faith thanks God before it receives what it is promise (or a change).

-It is in our minds and our attitudes the stubbornness and the emotions that we are unwilling to give to God.

-When you edify and walk in the Spirit, you build up yourself and your faith.

-Don’t approach God in fear, we can ask Him for anything and everything.

THIS IS THE WORD OF GOD. I WILL NOT ADD TO IT; NOR TAKE WAY 
FROM IT. THESE SCRIPTURES IS SIMPLY TELLING US THAT WE HAVE 
SIGNIFICANT PRIVILEGES ASSOCIATED WITH OUR NEW LIFE IN 
CHRIST.
1) WE HAVE PERSONAL ACCESS TO GOD THROUGH CHRIST AND CAN 
DRAW NEAR TO HIM WITHOUT AN ENSEMBLE SYSTEM.

2)WE MAY GROW IN FAITH, OVERCOME DOUBTS AND QUESTIONS, AND 
DEEPEN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

3) WE MAY ENJOY MOTIVATION FROM ONE ANOTHER.

4) WE MAY WORSHIP TOGETHER.

TO NEGLECT CHRISTIAN MEETING IS TO GIVE UP THE ENCOURAGEMENT 
AND HELP OF OTHER CHRISTIANS. WE GATHER TOGETHER TO SHARE 
OUR FAITH AND TO STRENGTHEN ONE ANOTHER IN THE LORD. AS WE 
GET CLOSER TO THE DAY WHEN CHRIST RETURN, WE WILL FACE MANY 
SPIRITUAL STRUGGLES, AND EVEN TIMES OF PERSECUTION. 
DIFFICULTIES SHOULD NEVER BE EXCUSES FOR MISSING CHURCH 
SERVICE. RATHER AS DIFFICULTIES ARISE, WE SHOULD MAKE AN 
EVEN GREATER EFFORT TO BE FAITHFUL IN ATTENDANCE.

PLEASE LETS HUMBLE OURSELVES TO THE WORD OF GOD:

Have you found yourself struggling with lust?

If so you know that its a personal problem that not everyone
can look at you and tell your going through. As a Christian
you've decided to live a pure and holy life before God-is a
continuous  battle with lust hindering your progress with
God or even making you feel ashamed to come before him?

QUESTION, " HOW WAS I TRANSFORMED? BY LOOKING AT YOUR
LIFESTYLES AND LIFE DECISIONS. BE A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST
EVERYDAY, NOT CERTAIN DAYS. REMEMBER THAT YOU REPRESENT
CHRIST. IF THE UNSAVED SEE YOU LIVING THEIR LIFESTYLE, THEN
HOW CAN YOU BRING THEM TO CHRIST? WHY WOULD THEY EVEN WANT
TO ASK YOU ABOUT CHRIST? MODEL YOUR LIFE AFTER CHRIST. BE
THE DISCIPLE THAT HE WANTS YOU TO BE. HE HAS CREATED YOU TO

- there is a price to be exalted

- we all have a God-side and a human-side
- the human-side always wrestles with the God-side
- it's a personal thing, not a family thing
- no one knows your Godly purpose
- we want these to pas, but if it's God's purpose it will not pass; you must go through it

- you must subdue warfare
* after you wrestle with that thing, make it subdued and be under your command

- purpose is intentional; involves determination and pursuing. One choice; must strive

- you must be qualified to be chosen for a situation that God has commanded you to do

I am reading a book called "Breaking Intimidation and in one 
chapter it talks about how we as Christians have a place of 
Authority in the Spirit. Since I'm horrible at verbally 
explaining I just copied from the book. It states,
         " First, it is important to understand that there 
is a dwelling place or position in the spirit that we hold 
as believers in Jesus. With this position comes authority. 
This authority is what the enemy wants. If he can get us to 
yield our God-given authority, he will take it and use it 
against us. This not only affects us, but also those 
entrusted in our care.
There are several scriptures pertaining to our place of 
authority in the spirit.
Psalm 91:1 
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall 
abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 81:9 
He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me 
because He delighted in me.

Psalm 26:12 
My foot stands in an even place; in the congregations I will 
bless the Lord.

Matt.(28:18-20)
All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,

       I would like to drop a word in your spirits. If any 
of you have heard about or read the school newspaper keep in 
mind  the tricks of the devil. Yes! we get angry, but the 
bible states " get angry, but sin not". Don't let this 
defile your temples. The world would act in a disruptive way 
toward this, but keep in mind who we are representing on 
this campus and in our outside lives. Let the world see God 
in you. Be bless and know that we are all God's children. 
God is good ya'll! We serve a mighty God, he will never leave 
us nor forsake us. Remember!!!!! We! Are! The! Head! And!

Will you be recognized in the last day by the spots in your 
garment? Do you repent everyday? How does your garment look? 
Is it clean press or is it filthy with unclean stains? God 
is asking everyone reading this email to submit, surrender, 
and yield to his feet. He wants us to pray in the Holy 
Spirit because the devil is more powerful than you think. 
His desire is to make you miss what God is trying to do for 
you and say unto you. He see what God has plan for his 
people. Worship and praise is what God loves. And for those 
who made big and small mistakes in the past and you can't 
seem to trust God that he has forgiven you, God told me to 
tell you, to know that he has forgiven you, but you must 
forgive yourself. Believe and go on striving to do the will 
of God. Stop worrying about the past mistakes because that's 
what the devil wants you to do (worry). He wants you to 
meditate on the past and while you are meditating on the 
past you are missing out on a lot of blessings. Don't allow 
those things to hold you back. Christ loves you and so do I. 
Be bless and know that he is God. Let's also remember to keep 
every sister in Christ in our prayers even brothers that God 
will strengthen us on this journey. Also, keep all the 
pastors and men of God call to bring forth God's word to his 
people in prayers.

          Truly God is good and deserves every single praise 
that we give him and the ones the we hold out on him. God 
has laid on my heart to write this email to you all and pray 
that it bless your spirits to hear his encouraging words.
        God love is genuine and pure.
        God said stop praying for that same thing over and 
over again, he heard you. He said stop worrying, and 
continue to worship him in spirit and in truth. Keep 
praising him in the midst of your going through. God said 
now is the time to be in his presence at all time. He said  
there is more he requires of you. There are more souls he 
wants you to bring to him. There are blessings, deliverance, 
healing, increasing faith, but he needs to know will your 
heart and soul say yes. Give it all to God. Give it all to 
him, trust him and he will do it, call upon him and he shall 
answer you, seek him and ye shall find him. Don't be 
impatient if you don't hear from him right then, God said 
he's just in love with your worship. He loves to hear you 
cry to him, pray to him, and most of all seek his face.

Hello Ladies! Okay, now we all know that I have the mouth of the South. Anyways, I am starting to catch myself say a whole lot of things I have no business saying especially when I am trying to witness to people about Jesus and am trying to live the Christian life. One thing I have to remember is that if I’m speaking as a non-Christian than how can I wear the name Christian? What are the people who are Christians going to think when they see their sister in Christ speaking in such a lewd and unladylike manner? The reason our world is the way it is, is all because of the tongue. Someone said something to somebody and somebody wants to get up in somebody because of the something that somebody said. The tongue causes fights, which causes death, which causes loss of population.  Let’s all watch what we say (especially me) so that we can continue to hold our torch and follow Christ.

           To be in the presence of God is so far beyond
explaining. I sometimes ask God, Do your children understand
fully the power of God? To stay in his presence, you much
constantly lay prostrate before the Lord. God wants you to
just trust him. We must constantly read his word. For the
word is the mind of God. Allow God to full your temple.
Meditate on his glory, on his mercy, on his eternal divine
grace. We must be a light unto the world, but in order to be
a light, you can't act. look, or sound like the world. A
child of God is unique and different. We are looked at as
outsiders in the worlds eyes, but we are insiders in the
eyes of God. Lets Continue to do the will of God daily and
not in seasons. The bible states, "choose ye this day whom ye
will serve. "Trust him, don't worry about what you did
yesterday. Repent and keep going. Paul tells us to forget
those things which are behind us and look forward to those
things which are before us. Remember, "we all are sinners
and have come short to the glory of God." Romans 3:23
Remember, to endure hardness as a good solider of Jesus
Christ as Timothy tells us. "Be strong and of good
courage," Joshua 1:6 I challenge each of you to examine your
own walk with God , and whatever isn't right get it right
with God fast and quick. For tomorrow isn't promise to no
one. ON the day I was suppose to email this to you all, the
devil tried to make me doubt God. Then, I was reminded of
the word I heard on Sunday that God always have the last
word, and the devil will try and paint pictures of your life,
but never paint the inner strength spiritual system that is
within me. Be bless and know that God is real, and he's on

Hello ladies! I finally have come out of my shell or hibernation to talk more about the power of prayer. I know sometimes we do not feel like talking to God and I felt this way last night. I felt tired, sick, and disillusioned about everything that was going on in my life and God was definitely the last person I wanted to talk to. Sometimes I feel as if he’s not listening, but deep down I know that he really is.  Right now, I realized that I am straying away from Christian values and morals. The reason I feel so low is because I have taken my life back away from Christ if you know what I mean. I gave Christ my life, but I became an Indian giver and took it right back. I got wrapped up in worldly things and forgot all about being “ChristianB.Fly” if you know what I mean. Maybe at the time I felt that God wasn’t listening to me. I felt as if I was praying for the same thing over and over again, but nothing was happening. I saw these words at the beginning of Psalm 4 and it was the words I was looking for. “Hear me when I call, oh God.” There is more to the scripture, but this was what grasped me. I feel that if I ask God to hear me then he will hear me, although he is already hearing me. If I ask him to hear me then it calms my worries of wondering whether he is listening to me or not. Does that make sense? God never leaves us, but we always leave him. Pray for me, you guys as I will pray for you!

I might have discussed this topic before, but I am going to discuss prayer again. As you all know or should know, I am applying to be a member of the SWARM crew for this summer. I really am in need of this job and I am going to pray without ceasing to God that he send this blessing to me. It has gotten to the point now, that every time I think about it, I pray about it. I feel as if I’m begging God for this so bad that I know in my heart I will get it. I remember talking to several of ya’ll about how we pray about things, but not only do we have to pray about it, but we also have to do things to obtain what we seek. For example, we can’t simply pray for a job and not go out there and actually look. We have to help ourselves first. I just would like everyone to continue to pray for me as I will for all of you. The Bible teaches that the prayers of the righteous availeth much and I would like for each of you to never stop praying for me. When you pray, call my name and I will call yours. Remember me when you speak to the Big Man!

Have you ever been through something and often contemplated when you were going to get a break? Maybe, you’ve felt as if God has put more on you then you can bare. We all have that feeling sometimes and to say that we don’t is to lie. One of the things I try to remember is how people come up out of problems and situations. For example, Jim Carrey (The Mask, Me, Myself, and Irene, Liar, Liar), and Tyler Perry (Madea) use to be homeless.  Now they live in mansions and are millionaires. Before she was famous, Mariah Carey only had one pair of shoes that had holes in the soles now she has a zillion (did ya’ll see her apartment on MTV Cribs?). God works in mysterious ways and when he starts working, things happen quick and fast. It may seem now that there is nothing but bad stuff following you, but just wait and watch the Lord work and you will see how many times he blesses us already. I remember being so pissed off when I was unable to withdrawal money from the bank before spring break (long story, I’ll explain for those who want the scoop), but then I realized later on that it was a blessing in disguise. If I had of spent the money I had in the bank then I wouldn’t have been able to help my sister out at her new apartment. I would have probably wasted the money on something I didn’t need and would have went home broke (well, I’m still broke). Because I did not get the money, I ended up saving and put the money to good use. Although things in life seem like a trial, one day the sun will shine and goodness will only follow us. One day we won’t have to worry about where money will come from because we’ll have too much of it and we might just want it to go away cause we can’t spend it as fast as we earn it. I told my sister last night, “do not worry about not having transportation now because there will come a day when we will have 50 cars and we will look back on this day and think “Man, God has brought us a mighty long way.” I know deep in my heart that goodness and mercy is going to follow me. I may be going through a storm now, but when the rain clears and the clouds fall away the only thing left will be eternally sunshine and on that day I will be praising and glorifying the Lord. Amen!

For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

 

Have you ever noticed that when you sing you are merely singing the words and the melody without any thought of what you are singing? Jesus said that those worship God must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24 KJV). When we sing, are we singing to God or are we singing to someone else? If we are singing to God then we are singing with understanding and in spirit and truth. We know this because we can feel the Holy Spirit moving through our veins we can see our voices get stronger and we can feel emotions begin to take over us because we feel and know what God has done for us. When we don’t sing in spirit and in truth and without understanding then we sound terrible, feel terrible, and have not properly worshipped or given praise to God. We should not be ashamed to lift up our voices and glorify God. Remember he has spared your life even to read this message and for me even to write it. Give God the praise he deserves. He gives us our voices and he can take it away as well. Let’s sing praises to our King with understanding and in spirit and in truth. When we sing, feel the words and believe the words. Write the words in your hearts and in your minds so when we sing we can gift God the highest amount of praise (Hebrews 13:15 KJV)
