My friends, with profound feelings of gratitude toward you all, I
have stepped down from the position of Chair of the Board of
Trustees of Friends of Liberia. I took over the position three
years ago when Jim Gray stepped down from his yeoman’s work for FOL.
Jim helped sustain FOL for over ten years and it was with
great trepidation that I became the interim President of FOL as

I am honored and humbled to serve as Chair of the Friends of Liberia
Board of Trustees. The mission of our organization and the
membership that supports it is to inspire and to influence positive
changes in Liberia. My association with Liberia started as a
