Message From The Rush Chairman:
This past year has made us stronger. As a brotherhood we have grown by adding
11 upstanding men to The Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Scholastically, we once again
have one of the highest GPAs for fraternities on campus. Socially, Kappa Sigma "Fright Night" showed to be the
biggest event of the 11-12 school year.
This year Kappa Sigma raised over $11,000 for the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society and put in over 8000 community service hours. The
accomplishments go on and on. This is not to say we are perfect; no one can
reach this the most unattainable of goals. However, we strive daily to make a
positive mark on Winthrop's campus and in the city of Rock Hill, never growing
complacent with what we have achieved.
To those interested in joining our organization: Every year
it is our goal to recruit the best of the best here at Winthrop University. Our
order grows only because of those who join our beloved organization. Pledges are
our lifeblood. Without them, there is no future to Kappa Sigma. We hope to
instill elements of greatness into our future pledges, adding to the strength of
our fraternity, and bettering them as men.
May the brotherhood continue to grow and exceed even its own expectations, for
the good of the Order.
