Submission
Guidelines
Specifications
All two and three-dimensional media (including photography) are
invited. All works that are meant to hang on the wall must be in
finished form and ready to hang with hooks and/or hanging wire attached.
Any works received, which are not framed and ready to hang, will not be
shown. All works must remain at the Clinic for the month of August
2006. Helping Hands Clinic reserves the right not to display
every piece submitted. Helping Hands Clinic also reserves the
right not display any work submitted after
5 p.m. on Wednesday, August
2, 2006
1. All work must be
centered on the theme of Art & Healing.
2. All work must be framed or in a finished state - do dry-mount or
other temporary hanging formats allowed.
3. If there are special installation instructions they must be
attached to the piece. Diagrams are helpful.
Sales
Any work may be marked
for sale if the artist wishes. Helping Hands Clinic will retain
a 25% commission on all sales. Any work not for sale should have an
insurance value indicated. Once price/insurance value of a piece is
specified, the price/value shall remain for the duration of the exhibition.
Helping Hands Clinic will conduct all sales transactions.
Delivery and pick-up dates
- York County Artists should make arrangements with Jamilyn Larsen for
their artwork to be delivered or picked up no later than
5 p.m. on Wednesday, August
2, 2006
- York County artwork will be available for return to the artists Tuesday,
September 5, 2006. Ms. Larsen will contact artists concerning pick up
or delivery.
- Please call if the above dates/times do not work and we will try to
accommodate your schedule.
Reception
A public reception will be held at the Helping Hands Clinic on
Friday, August 4 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
Refreshments will be provided.
