Milkshake is a Grandmother!
Dipper
gave birth to Leia -
where did she get those Siamese genes?

So she and my aunt piled my baby cousins and me up in the grass away from the falling boxes and next to where the people walked.

My cat mommy didn't believe in associating with people - she always ran from them.  But this was an emergency - she didn't know what else to do and the boxes kept falling down around us.

A male person came rushing out of his building and saw us.  He spoke to us.  He was much bigger than our cat mommies.  I was scared and my cousins' eyes hadn't opened yet, so when he bent down to touch us I did what I could to protect us - I hissed at him with all my might.  He laughed and hurried back inside the building that the boxes were flying out of.  He came back out with one of the boxes.

No!  I hissed and spit - Cat Mommy doesn't like boxes, or people!  He picked us up and put us in the box and closed us up.  It was dark and stuffy in the box and I had a funny feeling in my tummy - the box moved up and down, up and down.  We were moving.  Then I heard the male person talking - "Meet me outside I have something to give you.  Yes, I know I'm late for my lunch."
I heard a female person say, "What's this?"
"I don't know what to do with them.  I have to go."  The male person said.
The box lid opened and a female person looked in, "Oooh."  she said.  "Come on.  We'll take care of you."  The box started moving again.

The next few days were a period of adjustment.  Mrs. L (Mommy) tried hard to be a good cat mommy but it wasn't the same.  We cried a lot and we were scared and lonely.  But she fed us a lot of fake milk and when we got older and had bigger teeth, Daddoo made us scrambled eggs to eat.  And then Mommy would wash us with warm washcloths - especially after we ate because we always walked in the eggs.

I had two litters before I was fixed.  Daddoo said we could keep Spot.  But we don't get along very well.  Spot is bigger than I am and a better hunter - I am jealous of Spot.

Protect - Er - Cat - June 2004 - Milkshake saves Mommy!
One day Daddoo was gone and Mommy was home alone.  It was cool outside so Mommy had the front and back doors open so there was a nice breeze coming through the house.  Miss. Malt and I were having fun - we would chase each other in the front door and within 2 seconds out the back door and back through again - back and forth, back and forth.
One time I ran out the front door and there was a black dog in the yard!  It was a young dog but still about 8 times bigger than us.  Miss. Malt came running out the door and ran into my tail.  We stood there frozen with the fur along our spines standing up.
Mommy came to the door to see what we were staring at.  "Hi puppy!" she said in a friendly voice.
"Mommy,"  I thought.  "Don't talk to doggies!"
I jumped up on the window ledge to be in a safer spot.
Mommy walked out into the yard to pet the doggie.  Bad mommy.
Mommy started back into the house and then turned to say goodbye to the dog.
Suddenly, the dog suddenly ran towards her, jumped up at her, and put his paws on her shoulders.
The next thing I knew, I was flying through the air at the dog's head - claws extended, tail spiked, and hissing like I had never hissed before!
The dog ran away and Mommy laughed, picked me up, and hugged me for saving her from the doggie.  I growled at the retreating dog.
Silly Mommy associating with strange dogs.  What if something happened to you?  With Daddoo gone, who would have fed us?
