State Awards

The SCORE State Board of Directors recognizes the following awards to be annually given at the SCORE conference:

1. Four-Year service Award

2. NRHH Chapter of the Year

3. First Year Experience Award

4. Program of the Year

5. SCC of the Year

6. Advisor of the Year

7. School of the Year

8. Best Conference Roll Call Award

9. Top Conference Program Award

10. Most Spirited Conference Delegation Award

These awards will be presented at the closing banquet of the respective SCORE conference.

The NRHH Chapter of the Year, First Year Experience Award, Program of the Year, SCC of the Year, Advisor of the Year, and the School of the Year will be decided upon and awarded by the SCORE voting body.

The Four-Year service award and the Board of Directors awards will be decided upon and awarded by the SCORE State Board of Directors.

The Best Conference Roll Call Award, Top Conference Program Award, and Most Spirited Conference Delegation Award will be decided upon and awarded by the respective SCORE conference staff.

The following guidelines must be followed when submitting written bids for some of the listed awards.

 

General Guidelines for all written bids:

1. All bids must be submitted by the designated date in order to be considered

2. All bids should be on white paper (8 1/2 x 11)

3. No colored paper or colored pictures should be used anywhere in the bid

4. The pages should be double-sided, with a page being defined as a page of print; Cover or title pages do not count towards the page limitations

5.  The cover or title page should not have anything on the reverse side

6. All bids should be stapled in the upper left hand corner of the upright page

7. All bids should be three hole punched down the left column of each page

8. Any information included in the bid that does not coincide with the specified time frame (SCORE to SCORE in February) will be excluded in the final decision.
