"Keary A. Simms"

 About me

Born in Jamaica and lived there for 14 years. There I ran track and played soccer. At age 14 I came to America to start a new life. Before coming to college at Winthrop University, I resided in Florida where I attended Port St. Lucie High School. There I was a tri-sport athlete. I played football, soccer and I ran track. I excelled in all three of these sport so I was highly recruited for all three. I chose to go the track route and that is the reason I ended up at Winthrop University because I felt that this was the right place for me to be.

Football is my #1 sport.  I love playing football, whether it is a legitimate game or jus some backyard game with friends. I take the game of  football very seriously. I was a football player for the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguars from 2003- 2007. Started as a wide receiver and kick returner all four years at Port St. Lucie. Was also the starting kicker and punter. Played in the Outback Bowl All-Star game and started as the kicker and wide receiver. I was highly recruited for football, but I knew I had a better chance to show my talent in Track rather than Football so now I am currently running track at the Division 1level and I expect big things to happen in the future

Education

Attended Elementary and Middle school in Jamaica. When I came to Florida I attended Port St. Lucie High School 2003-2007 where I earned my high school Diploma and many athletic achievements. Now I am currently at Winthrop University. My current major is Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. In the future, after getting my degree, my plan is to go to grad school and get my MBA in Financing.

Born a Jamaican, die a Jamaican

I know I that I was born in Jamaica, but my current permanent address is Fort Pierce, Florida and I am representing my hometown to the fullest because that is where all the opportunities started for me and I will never forget that.
