Please give a
description of your proposed show. WINR seeks a
diverse set of programming, and like many
college radio stations, WINR does not limit
itself to any particular genre. However, please
remember that “eclectic” is not a genre.
The best shows
exhibit a commitment to a form as well as
consistent artist selection and enthusiasm on
the part of the air staff. For a talk show,
please thoroughly discuss what you would like to
do.

Why do you want an
airshift on WINR?

Possible
real-life situation: You are on the air with
two of your friends discussing a great concert
you all went to the previous weekend at the
Carowinds Palladium. During this conversation,
one of your friends (a guest, not a member of
the WINR air staff) describes how the security
staff treated him, adding in profane and
derogatory language. How would you handle this,
live, on the air?
