WINR

Got a Mac? Learn how to listen to WINR here:

WINR uses Windows' Media Encoder to stream our signal on the internet. While some folks may not like this, this is out of our control. (i.e. the university provides the stream and bandwidth free of charge - we're not going to complain.) If you have a Mac, there are some known compatibility issues with the system.

However, a workaround has been discovered. To listen in Mac OS X:

1. First upgrade to the latest version of Quicktime. (Most Macs have Quicktime - you may need to update the software. If you don’t have Quicktime, download it here.

2. Next, download the Flip4Mac WMV player (a plugin for Quicktime) from Microsoft. This is available here.

3. Lastly, open this link in Firefox (it won’t ask in Safari) and it should ask you which application to open it with. Choose Flip4Mac from your Applications folder. That will bring up Quicktime.
