The Pan-Hellenic Council of Winthrop University is comprised of eight of the nine Black Greek Letter Organizations. Each of these organizations hold membership in the National Pan-Hellenic Council. The purpose of the Pan-Hellenic Council on the collegiate level is to foster a sense of unity amongst the Greek Letter organizations on college campuses. The active chapters that are members of the Winthrop University Pan-Hellenic Council are:
