I'll tell a little about my web site here.
First off. I made the sky background that you see behind you. Well, not really. I didn't actually make it, but I did edit it so that it tiles pretty well. I also added a little "noise" to it. If you look real careful at the picture you'll see slanted lines all over it. Without them the image wouldn't look as good as it does now.
You see those planets that are at the top of my pages? Well, they're showing you the time of day. Depending on when you come visit my pages you get a different planet, one for that particular time of the day. If you come at noon then the planets are brightly lit, but if you come at 8 in the afternoon then they'll just about be blackened out. It's not a totally accurate representation of the time, but it's good enough.
One more thing. If you look at the source code for my pages then you'll get a pleasant surprise. There's a different comment at the top of each page.
